- 190 - Antiochus strengthened Chersonesos, Sestus, Abydos, and Lysimachus and assembled a new large army. Scipio led the Romans through Macedonia and Thrace to the Hellespont. Scipio freed with the consent of the Senate Philip from the payment of arrears. Eumenes sailed with the fleet to help the Romans. Spring - Seleucus approached Elea, then moved to Pergamum, ravaged the vicinity of the city and besieged Attalus there. The Achaeans came to the aid of the Pergamans. In a stubborn battle, Antiochus is completely defeated.
