City Settlement Misheronsky - the abolished municipality ( urban settlement ) in the Shatura municipal district of the Moscow region . It was formed in 2005. It includes 8 settlements, the largest of which is the urban-type settlement of Misheron .

Geography

The area of ​​the territory is 455.62 km² [2] .

The urban settlement of Misheron is located in the northeastern part of the Shatura region .

On the territory of the settlement there are several lakes: White , Black , Vlasov , Lemeshinsky , Kendur , Lihoe , Leech and Smerdyachye .

History

In the course of the municipal reform carried out after the adoption of the federal law of 2003 “On the general principles of the organization of local self-government in the Russian Federation”, urban and rural settlements were formed in the Moscow Region.

The city settlement Misheronsky was established according to the law of the Moscow region dated January 21, 2005 No. 18/2005-OZ “On the status and borders of the Shatura municipal district and the newly formed municipal formations” [1] .

The urban settlement Misheronsky and 7 more rural settlements of Bordukovsky rural district were included in the urban settlement. The old division into rural districts was abolished later, in 2006 [3] .
