Emblem Description

“In the azure field there is a golden bezant , burdened by the half of green spruce coming out on the left and beside it a black walking sable on guard; the disk is accompanied in the upper right corner by a scarlet star laid indirectly on the right by five rays, finely edged with gold, and below two silver coiled fishes , curved according to the bezantu. ”

Symbolism Description

The coat of arms in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the historical, natural and economic features of the area.

The symbolism of the star in the emblem is ambiguous:

- the district is named after the pilot Polina Osipenko - Hero of the Soviet Union ;

- a flying star - a symbol of flight, forward movement allegorically indicates a non-stop flight Moscow - the Far East on the Rodina plane , performed by Polina Osipenko together with Valentina Grizodubova and Marina Raskova .

The golden circle (bezant) indicates gold mining in the region.

Images of spruce, sable and Far Eastern salmon symbolize the natural wealth of the area.

Gold in heraldry is a symbol of wealth, respect, stability, intelligence.

Silver is a symbol of purity, nobility, peace and mutual understanding.

Azure (blue, blue) in heraldry is a symbol of honor, glory, devotion, truth, beauty and virtue.

Green color is a symbol of nature, health, life growth.

Black color symbolizes wisdom, peace, modesty, eternity of being.

The scarlet (red) color is a symbol of labor, courage, strength, beauty.

The coat of arms of the district was developed on the basis of the coat of arms of the district that existed since 1997 , which looked like this: the shield is cut with azure and silver; on top of it is a golden ring truncated below, filled with black on the right, with a golden thread-like spruce, accompanied by a golden thread-like sable on the right, and with the gold inscriptions “Polina Osipenko District” and “Au” on the right. The ring is surrounded on the right by a silver trace from a flying scarlet-edged gold-flying airplane above and is accompanied by a scarlet-bordered goldfish with black fins below.

A souvenir badge was issued with the image of this emblem.

The final coat of arms of the district and its description were developed with the assistance of the Union of Heraldists of Russia .
