Biography
In 1982 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology with a degree in Microprocessor Systems.
In 2001 he graduated from INSEAD Business School (France), a program for top managers.
In 2008 he graduated from IMD Business School (Switzerland), program "Management of Innovative Business".
In 2009, he graduated from Haas Business School, University of Berkeley (USA), Venture Capital Executive Program.
2011-2012 Evgeni Utkin graduated from ESE Business School (Brazil), the Wharton School (USA), CEIBS (China), Global CEO Program
In 1975-1976 he worked as an electric fitter at the Zapadnaya mine (Donetsk, Rostov Region), in 1980-1982 he worked as an employee of the Scientific Research Institute of Precise Technologies (Zelenograd), in 1982-1990 he worked as an engineer, the head of the laboratory, and the chief designer of the Kiev Scientific Research Institute of Microdevices .
In 1990, he founded and headed the Kvazar-Micro company, where he served as president and chairman of the board.
In 2005, Sitronics acquired 51% of Quasar-Micro. In February 2006, Evgeny Utkin was appointed President of Sitronics OJSC. Under his leadership, the company entered the London Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of 2 billion 300 million US dollars and became the largest high-tech company in Eastern Europe. In October 2007, Evgeny Utkin left JSC Sitronics. In June 2009, Utkin’s new company, Kvazar-Micro Securities, bought the business line and brand Kvazar-Micro from Sitronics.
He is currently President of KM Core Investment Holding, a member of the Board of Directors of NIIME and Mikron OJSC (Russia).

From 1998 to 2001, Yevgeny Utkin served as chairman of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine . Honored Worker of Industry of Ukraine, awarded with an honorary diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
