Mozhginsky Upland

It has a fairly soft, gentle outline. It is more sharply expressed in the basin of the Upper Vala and in the area of the sources of Pychas , Toyma , Umyak and other rivers. Most of the territory has been plowed up; mixed forests occur in places. The prevailing heights are 180–220 m. The highest point is Nardyga Mountain (258 m).

It is composed of limestones, dolomites, sandstones, clays and marls of the upper part of the Permian system (Ufa, Kazan and Tatar tiers). It coincides with the eastern part of the northern dome of the Tatar Arch. In river valleys, alluvial deposits are developed that form complexes of river terraces. The hill is dissected by a network of rivers, gullies and ravines. River valleys are characterized by pronounced asymmetry of the slopes. Forests are mostly cut down, the liberated lands are plowed up. [one]

The largest rivers originating on a hill: Vala, Toyma, Umyak, Luga , Postolka , Kylt .

In the middle of the hill is the city of Mozhga .
