Aristide Begu ( Fr. Aristide Begue ; born , ) - French biathlete , two-time bronze medalist of the Winter Youth Olympic Games , two-time world champion among youth in the individual race, world champion among juniors in individual race. He made his debut in the World Cup on December 15, 2016, becoming the 61st in the sprint at the stage in Nove Mesto [2] . Participant in two adult European championships ( 2016 , 2017 ), the best personal result is ninth in the sprint in 2017. In addition to his sporting achievements, he is known for tweeting the Russian biathlete Alexander Loginov , who had served a suspension for doping , as a “scammer” after losing to him at the IBU Cup 2016/17 in Italian Val Martello (sixth and eighth places against two Russian victories) [3] .
