Ivan Yakovlevich Timoshin (March 1910 -?) - Soviet statesman, chairman of the Chelyabinsk Executive Committee in 1946-1948 .

From 1925 to 1930 he studied at the Ryazan vocational school.

In 1932 he joined the VKP (b) . In the same year he was assigned to the construction of the Chelyabinsk Tramtorny Plant , and later worked there as a mechanic, foreman, senior foreman, heating engineer, engineer, and head of the boiler department.

In 1942 he was elected secretary of the Stalin regional committee of the CPSU (b), in February 1944 he was elected 2nd secretary of the Leninsky district committee of the party. In November of the same year, he was appointed a party organizer of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b) for the Chelyabinsk CHP.

In August 1946, approved by the 1st Secretary of the Leninsky District Committee of the CPSU (b).

In February 1947 he was elected chairman of the Chelyab City Executive Committee. Less than a year later, in January 1948, he was relieved of his post by resolution of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR No. 934 of December 15, 1947: “On the state of the urban economy of Chelyabinsk”, “for failure to provide work”. It was withdrawn at the disposal of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR.
