Biography
He graduated from the philological faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov (1967).
In the Scientific and Methodological Center of the Russian Language (later - the A. Pushkin Institute of the Russian Language ) since 1967 he worked as the head of the department of educational lexicography.
Honorary Doctor of Heilongjiang University ( PRC ), Member of the Editorial Board of the journal "Russian Language Abroad".
He made a significant contribution to Russian lexicology, general and educational lexicography, theory and practice of teaching the Russian language of non-Russians.
