History
It arose as a village of peat producers at the peat enterprise “Ozernoye”. The peat enterprise, the development of which began in 1939, supplied fuel to the Krasnaya Talka factory in Ivanovo [2] .
November 1, 1949 received the status of urban-type settlement.
In 2002, Ozerny became a village.
