Biography

Born in the family of professor-physicist Leonid Aleksandrovich Lensky and director of the scientific and technical library of the NAMI Valentina Alekseevna Lenskaya (Teplova) [15] .

He graduated in 1983 from the chess department of the State Central Institute of Physical Education and in 1991 from the journalism department of the Youth Institute of the State Committee for Labor of the Russian Federation [16] .

He began his career in 1983 as a coach at the chess club of the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy . In 1985 - 1990 he worked in the State Sports Committee of the USSR .

I came to the Pravda newspaper at the invitation of the chief editor Gennady Seleznev . The author of articles, essays, interviews, written on the basis of business trips to Abkhazia , Nagorno-Karabakh , Tajikistan , Kazakhstan , Moldova , the Baltic countries, and other regions of the post-Soviet space [9] .

The special correspondent, editor of the Pravda newspaper department, deputy editor-in-chief of the weekly Pravda-5 (1990-2000) [1] , was also published in Nezavisimaya Gazeta , Rossiyskaya Gazeta , Military Industrial Courier, and the newspaper Moscow Railwayman ” , the newspaper“ Rus Derzhavnaya ”, the newspaper“ Provincial Gazette ”(Kuzbass), the magazine “ 64 - Chess Review ” [8] [17] , regional publications. In 1993-1995 , he was the first among federal journalists in articles published in the Pravda newspaper to raise the issue of the need for the Russian Federation to recognize the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia . In 1998, the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation awarded the degree of candidate of pedagogical sciences [23] for a thesis on ethnopedagogy . Criticism

The resonance was caused by Lensky's article “Gray Wolves at the Outskirts”, published on December 11, 1992 in the newspaper Pravda . In the article, Lensky discusses the threat of the spread of paganism in Chuvashia , accuses the Goskomnats of Russia of the fact that he actually contributed to the collapse of the Russian Federation . Senior officials of Chuvashia criticized the article. Atner Khuzangay [33] noted that he did not see a “greater concentration of lies” anywhere. Valerian Viktorov (Chairman of the Government of Chuvashia) called the article “provocative,” Eduard Kubarev (Chairman of the Supreme Council of Chuvashia) spoke more carefully that there were overlaps in the article, but in general it was a warning and a warning about the possible development of events.
