Acridinae (lat.) - a subfamily of insects of the family of true locusts ( Acrididae ) of the order of Orthoptera ( Orthoptera ).

Description

The head is conical. The angle formed between the forehead and the crown of the head is acute. Pronotum without pronounced tubercles. Prothorax smooth or with a small median tubercle. On hind tibia there is no apical spine. Ovipositor valves narrowed to apex ^[1] .
