Career

Dmitry Megalinsky began his professional career in 2003 as part of the Major League club HC "Voronezh" , speaking before the farm-club of Yaroslavl " Locomotive ". In his debut season, Dmitry spent 42 matches on the court, in which he scored 12 (4 + 8) points, moreover he got a chance to make his debut in the first team of the Yaroslavl club in the Super League . The following season, Megalinskiy again managed to spend only one game for the first composition of Lokomotiv, spending most of the season in the farm.

In 2005, in the NHL draft, he was selected in the 6th round under the total number 186 by the club " Ottawa Senators " [1] . In the 2005/06 season , Dmitri finally entrenched himself in the main line-up of the “railroad workers”, having played 28 matches and scored 1 (0 + 1) point. Nevertheless, before the start of the new season Megalinsky left Yaroslavl and signed a contract with the Sunday “ Chemist ”, in which he was able to score 12 (4 + 8) points in 40 matches. On May 12, 2007, Dmitriy became a player of Chekhov's " Vityaz " [2] , in which he played during the next four seasons, gaining during this time 39 (8 + 31) points in 131 matches.

On June 22, 2011, Megalinsky signed a two-year contract with Metallurg Novokuznetsk [3] .

On May 7, 2013, it was announced that Megalinsky had signed a two-year contract with Spartak Moscow [4] . November 11 , the same year, as a result of the exchange for Philip Toluzakov , Dmitry Megalinsky switched to the system of the Ekaterinburg " Automobilist " [5] .
