Altyn-Emelsky district is a unit of administrative division of the Alma-Ata district of the Kazak Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , which existed in 1928-1930. The center is the village of Kol-Kamys.

The Altyn-Emelsky district was formed in 1928 as part of the Alma-Ata district on the basis of the Balgaly, Gorno-Jalairov and Narimanov volosts of the Taldy-Kurgan district of the Dzhetysu province . At the end of 1929 the district was renamed the Malay-Sarinsky district . In 1930, the district was abolished, and its territory was divided between the Balkhash , Karatalsky and Taldy-Kurgan regions [1] .
