Sofia Skopovskaya was first mentioned in 1525, at the wedding of her daughter Teresa and Theodore (Fedor) Golynsky . Sophia herself was married to Jerzy Gedemin (coat of arms Pogonya of Lithuania). In 1652, Stanislav Skopovsky was mentioned in connection with a complaint against him by another nobleman, Stefan Zhabokritsky, about the excessive oppression of serfs and even a local priest. This event, without changing the name and place of the event, is described in the novel by N. Rybak “Pereyaslavskaya Rada”.

Stanislav had two sons: Nikolai and Thomas. The Thomas branch is little known and poorly researched.

Nikolai had a son, Martin. Martin has a son, Casimir. Casimir Thaddeus, Matvey and Fabian. Thaddeus had two sons - Joseph and Ludwik. Nothing is known about the descendants of Ludwik. And Joseph had seven sons: Leon, Karl, Severin, Victor, Erasmus, Franz and Michael. The Central Auditing Commission (11/19/1842, case No. 1899) confirmed the noble origin of the Skopovsky clan in the Podolsk province of the Russian Empire.

Karl and Erasmus joined the Prague Infantry Regiment in 1836. Karl rose to the rank of colonel, took part in the Caucasian War , the campaign in Transylvania and the defense of Sevastopol . He was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 3rd degree with a bow (1845), St. Vladimir of the 4th degree with a bow (1846), and the Insignia for 15 years of immaculate service.

Erasmus took part in the Caucasian War, the campaign in Transylvania and the defense of Sevastopol. He rose to the rank of major. The last time it was mentioned was the battalion commander of the 57th Modlin Infantry Regiment in 1872.

The Skopovskys at different times owned the settlements of Zhabokrich , Braga, Zhvanets , Tsviklovtsy, Monastery and Tyutkov .

The Skopovskys have the Yastrzhembek coat of arms.

Rod has not died out and continues to this day.
