Northrop Grumman Ship Systems ( NGSS ) - Until 2008, one of the shipbuilding units of Northrop Grumman . Formed as a result of the merger of Ingalls Shipbuilding and Avondale Shipyard . In 2008, it merged with another division of Northrop Grumman Newport News into a single shipbuilding division of Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding [1] .
