Quetta ( Pashto د کوټه ولسوالۍ ; English Quetta District ; Urdu لع کوئٹہ ) is one of the 30 districts of the Pakistani province of Baluchistan .

History
Until 2000, the district was part of the region of Quetta .
Administrative divisions
The district is divided into two technical strengths - Quetta and Panjpay.
Population
Baluchi and Pashtuns reside in the area. These two nations are united by a common religion - Islam . They speak Baluchi and Pashto (both languages of the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family ). The inhabitants of the district are occupied by nomadic cattle breeding and agriculture (they grow wheat, barley, millet, corn and potatoes)
Natural Resources
The county is rich in natural resources. There are coal , natural gas , chromium and other minerals.
