History
Founded in 1857 by immigrants from the Chumysh and Verkh-Chumysh volosts of the Barnaul district of the Tomsk province. Until the 20th century, it was called the village of Mostovoy.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Novikolai Church was built in the village. Now there is a school in this building.
The first information about Bolshaya Rechka is available in the 10th reviz fairy tale of 1857 and the salary book of the Biysk volost of 1859. They include 20 male souls.
The increase in the number of inhabitants is associated with the abolition of serfdom in 1861, when, from 1863, the first settlers from the western provinces of the country began to arrive. In particular, from the Chernorechensky distillery of the court councilor Dmitry Dmitrievich Ponomarev (1784-1844) and his wife Anastasia Petrovna (1794-1859), which was located in the village of Chernaya Rechka, Chervishevsky volost, Tyumen district, Tobolsk province. Also associated with the Stolypin agrarian reforms in the first decade of the 20th century.
In the 19th century, the highway from Barnaul to Biysk passed through the Bolshaya Rechka. The village grew, two-story houses were built. When the railway line was put into operation in Biysk and on the Bolshaya River the new village of Troitskoe began, the road moved closer to it.
