Lozneva, Alexander Nikitich

Aleksander Nikitich Loznevoy ( 1911 - 2005 ) - Russian poet , prose writer , journalist , member of the USSR Writers Union , author of more than two dozen books. Member of the Soviet-Finnish and World War II, Honorary Citizen of Magnitogorsk .

Biography

  • 1911 , March 17 - was born in the village of Bolsheroroitsky Kursk province [1] in a peasant family. Initial diploma comprehended self-taught.
  • 1923 - enrolled in a rural school
  • 1928 - went to work, worked as a digger at the construction of the Kharkov Tractor Plant
  • 1933 , April - arrived through recruitment in Magnitogorsk for the construction of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works , where he began working as a turner in a mechanical workshop. The first steps in journalism and literature were made with the Magnitogorsk poets B. Ruchyov , M. Lyugarin , V. Makarov , L. Tatyanicheva . He worked as an employee of the newspaper Magnitogorsk Worker , and began to print in local newspapers and magazines.
  • 1933 - drafted into the army
  • 1939 - drafted into the Finnish War
  • 1941 - from the last year of the Gorky Literary Institute, he went to the front of the Great Patriotic War , which went from beginning to end. On the fronts of the war he commanded rifle and mortar platoons, worked in divisional, army and district newspapers (the last of the post-war was the army newspaper in Chukotka ). In 1943 he joined the CPSU (b).
  • 1951 - the first book of Alexander Loznevoy was published in Simferopol : a poetic collection “For Babies”.
  • 1954 - moved to Minsk , admitted to the Union of Writers of the USSR
  • 1968 - returned to Magnitogorsk
  • 1986 - awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR "For many years of fruitful literary and social activities"
  • 1998 - awarded the title “ Honorary Citizen of Magnitogorsk ”
  • 2003 - moved to Minsk with his daughter
  • 2005 , May 22 - died in Minsk at the age of 94

Literary activity

The fundamental theme of the work of Alexander Loznevoy is a military theme. Many of his poems are put to music, becoming popular songs. During the years of his life in Chukotka , Lozneva collected and translated into Russian the legends of local peoples, later collected in the book "Chukotka Tales", translated into many languages ​​of the peoples of the USSR .
