History
The street appeared in the late 1840s . Originally called the Malo-Murinsky road, then also Murinsky street. March 5, 1871 began to be called Timofeevskaya - by the name of the merchant Timofeev, who owned apartment buildings in these places [1] . The modern name was assigned on December 15, 1952 in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union, General Nikolai Fedorovich Vatutin .
