Biography

Yuri Volintsev was born on April 28, 1932 in Leningrad . He studied at the Schukin Theater School (course of I. M. Rapoport ), classmates were V. V. Lepko , V. V. Mayorova , A. A. Mironov [3] .

After graduating from college in 1962 he was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Academic Theater named after Vakhtangov .

He voiced a lot of cartoon characters, he acted in films mainly in episodes. The Soviet audience is best known for playing in the role of Athlete Pan in the humorous television series “Zucchini“ 13 Chairs “” .

The father of the actress, radio and television presenter Ksenia Strizh .

He died on August 9, 1999 at the 68th year of his life in a dream from acute heart failure [4] . Farewell took place in the lobby of the Vakhtangov Theater on August 12 [4] . He was buried in the Khovansky cemetery .
