"Daugava" is a literary and art journal in Russian . He went out in Riga from 1977 to 2008.

Edition
Until 1990, it was published monthly, in the future - once every two months. Published until 1991 by the Writers' Union of the Latvian SSR. Since 1992, the publisher is SIA "Daugava". The editorial office was in Riga at ul. Balasta Dambis, 3, in a high-rise building of the House of Printing .
The chief editors during the work of the journal were: R. Trofimov (1977-1978), A. Stankevich (1979-1985), V. Mikhailov (1986-1987), V. Dozortsev (1987-1991), R. Dobrovensky (1991— 1995), J. Ezite (1995-2007).
The circulation in the mid-1980s reached 16 thousand copies, in 2003 it amounted to 500 copies.
The magazine published Latvian authors writing in Russian. A large place was occupied by publications on the history of Latvian and Russian culture. Permanent authors were: poets I. Auzins , V. Avotins , L. Cherevichnik , writers and publicists Yu. Abyzov , V. Andreev , A. Yakuban , M. Kostenetskaya , E. Sazanovich , historian B. Ravdin [1] .
