Yandyki is a railway station of the Astrakhan branch of the Volga Railway on the line Astrakhan - Kizlyar (the line is not electrified). It is named after the village of the same name (formerly called Exit No. 6). Long-distance trains pass through the station to Moscow , Makhachkala , Grozny , Baku , Volgograd , Kharkov . Suburban transportation to Astrakhan II , Oleinikovo .

Content
History
The station was opened in 1942 as part of the Astrakhan - Kizlyar railway line . Until 1996, it belonged to the North Caucasus Railway.
On July 28, 2004, the Yandyki - Port Olya railway line opened, and the station became a junction.
Activities
Commercial operations performed at the station :
- sale of passenger tickets;
- boarding and disembarking local and suburban trains;
- wagon and small freight (commercial);
- reception and issuance of freight cars loaded in public places [2] .
The station stops 1 pair of the Astrakhan II - Artesian local train and most passenger trains traveling along the Astrakhan - Kizlyar line. The station also transits railway cargo going to the port of Olya .
