Content
Biography
Doctor of Historical Sciences (1987), Professor of the Leningrad (St. Petersburg) University (1990). In 1993–2003, he was the head of the St. Petersburg branch of the RNII of Cultural and Natural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Sciences (since 1998, the Center for Regional Research and Museum Technologies Petroskandika NIIKSI St. Petersburg State University). It is considered the creator of a number of new scientific directions in archeology, regional studies , cultural studies , semiotics , and historical sociology . Deputy of the Leningrad Soviet (Petrosovet) in 1990-1993, member of the presidium 1990-1991. [1] [2] .
