Albert Maybach ( German: Arnold Heinrich Albert Maybach , 1822-1904) - Prussian Minister. In 1888, he received the nobility and became known as von Maybach .

As the protector of the transfer of all railways into the ownership of the imperial government, he was placed in 1874 at the head of the newly established Imperial Railway Administration . In 1878 he was appointed Prussian Minister of Commerce, and the following year - Minister of Public Works and Head of the Imperial Railways in Alsace-Lorraine . From 1882 to 1893 he was a deputy in the Prussian Landtag . In 1883, he defended Bismarck ’s thought about the gradual redemption of all private railways. The subsequent transfer of roads into the hands of the treasury was mainly his business. In 1889, he spoke out against the reduction in railway tariffs proposed by the free-thinking party; in 1890 he took severe measures against workers in state-owned factories and workshops participating in the May 1 celebration. In 1891 he retired.
