Biography
Born on February 8, 1868, the son of Gotthard Gotthardovich (Grigory Grigoryevich) Timroth and Olga Fedorovna nee von Raden. September 1, 1886 was admitted to the Page Corps and October 11, 1887, made in cell-pages. Released on August 9, 1888, as a second lieutenant in the Life Guards Semyonovsky Regiment .
On August 9, 1892, he was promoted to lieutenant and on December 6, 1899, he was promoted to headquarters captain . He took a course of sciences at the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff , was released on the 1st rank, but for some unknown reason he was not assigned to the General Staff and returned to his regiment. On December 6, 1900, he was promoted to captain and commanded a company in the Semenovsky regiment for about 9 years. December 6, 1908 promoted to colonel .
After the outbreak of World War I, Timrot was appointed commander of the 92nd Pechora Infantry Regiment on November 6, 1914. By the highest order of February 13, 1915, Timrot, even for the difference in the ranks of the Life Guards of the Semenov Regiment, was awarded the St. George weapons :

July 30, 1915 promoted to major general and August 6, 1915 was appointed commander of the brigade of the 34th Infantry Division . From April 12, 1917, he commanded the 15th Infantry Division . By order of the army and navy of October 8, 1917, he was awarded the Order of St. for differences in battles against the enemy . George 4th degree.
During the Civil War, Timrot, according to some reports, was in the army of Bermont-Avalov . After the defeat of the whites, he emigrated to Germany , lived in Potsdam , was a member of the regimental association of the Life Guards Semyonovsky Regiment.
He died in Dresden on November 2, 1941 and was buried in the Northern Cemetery .
