Biological Description

There are certain problems with the difference between Bulbophyllum putidum and Bulbophyllum appendiculatum and Bulbophyllum ornatissimum [4] . Sometimes Bulbophyllum fascinator is sold under the name Bulbophyllum putidum .

Escape the sympodial type.

Pseudobulbs are elliptical, olive-green, located at a distance of 2-3 cm from each other.

The leaves are oblong-elliptical.

Flowers are 15–20 cm long [5] .

Range, environmental features

Philippines , Thailand , Northeast India , the peninsula of Malacca , Laos and Vietnam (Dac Lac (Buon Ma Thuat, Darlac)), Sumatra , Kalimantan [6] .

Primary mountain forests at altitudes from 1000 to 2000 meters above sea level [5] .

In Culture

The temperature group is warm.

For successful flowering, it is recommended to plant plants in such a way that new pseudobulbs are adjacent to the substrate [5] .

Bulbophyllum putidum is grown without creating an artificial dormant period.

Relative humidity is about 80%.
