Novokakhovsky Agricultural College is an educational institution in the Kherson region of Ukraine (the city of New Kakhovka ). The college specializes in training junior agricultural machinery service specialists, specialists in the field of energy, land reclamation, economics, finance, information technology and other fields.

Content
History
The educational institution was founded in 1953 in the city of Kherson according to the order of the Council of Ministers of the USSR as a technical school for agricultural mechanization .
In 1957, after combining the College of Agricultural Mechanization with the Kherson College of Accounting, the school was transferred to Novaya Kakhovka and renamed the Novokakhovsky College of Water Reclamation, Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture [1] [2] .
In 1961, the training of foreign students began. These were the first 120 students from Liberty Island - Cuba . Between 1961 and 1992, the college trained 1,480 specialists from 42 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America .
In 1972, the technical school moved to a new building, which is now occupied. In the center of the city, bright modern buildings of the college educational buildings rise, where more than 1000 students can study at the same time.
In 1993, the educational institution received college status, due to the need to train not a mechanical contractor, but a specialist who can independently work on the ground, to understand the complex issues of legal and market relations in the context of reforming the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
In March 1995, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine included the college in the list of facilities whose privatization is prohibited due to their national importance [3] .
A detailed analysis of the needs of agricultural specialists in our region and the entire Southern region showed the need to open new promising specialties: land management, law, production organization, enterprise economics, maintenance of intelligent integrated systems, finance and credit.
Merit
Since 2001, the college is a regular participant in the international exhibitions "Modern Education in Ukraine", "AGRO", "Innovation in Education of Ukraine" [4] . He was awarded three bronze medals for the introduction of innovative teaching technologies, certificates and diplomas.
In 2006 and 2008, the college received the Honorary title “Leader of modern education”, the award of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Flagship of Education and Science of Ukraine 2009”, and a diploma of a laureate in the category “Innovation in Higher Education 2009”.
For a significant contribution to the development of agricultural education in Ukraine, the fruitful work of teachers and students of VSP "Novokakhovsky College of Tauride DATU" was awarded the gold medal of the XXII international exhibition-fair "AGRO-2010" and with awards and diplomas of the Department of the Ministry of Agricultural Education .
