Giurgia Biedov played for the Mornar club from Split . From 1962 to 1968, she won 19 medals at the championships of Yugoslavia. At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, she won gold and silver medals - the first Olympic medals in the history of Yugoslav swimming.
