Biography

Saint Faro, or Faron, or Burgundofaro ( French: Burgondofaro ), Prince Gina , belonged to the Faronids family, as his name speaks of [1] .

His brothers were sv. Valdebert , Prince of Ginsky , Pontieux And Saint-Paul [2] , who became rector of Luxoy , And Hagnoald (Comm. 6 September), Bishop of Laon . His sister was St. Burgondofar [3] , who founded the Farmoutier Monastery. They were the children of Chagnoric, Chancellor of the Franks King Dagobert I.

Faro, who inherited the land in Gin from his brother Waldebert [4] , became Bishop of Mo after Gundoald , who was probably his relative, who was Bishop of Mo for some time between 625 and 637 years. He built a monastery in Estrouanne , not far from the port of Wissan, located in the Pas de Calais , destroyed and burned, according to the Hormone and Isambart [5] .

The life of St. Pharaun in 869 was written by Bishop Mo Hildegarius [6] [7] .
