Shannon Rempel ( born November 26, 1984 , Winnipeg ) is a Canadian speed skater , the 2007 world champion in the team race, and the silver medalist of the 2006 Olympic Games in the team race. Winner of the World Cup in the team race in 2008.

Biography

In 2003 she became the world champion among juniors.

At the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, she became a silver medalist in the team race. At the distance of 500 m, it became the 16th, at 1000 m - the 24th, at 1500 m - the 28th.

In 2007, at the World Championship in individual distances, she became the world champion in the team race, together with Christina Groves and Christine Nesbitt .

In 2008, in the team race she became the owner of the World Cup.

Participated in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, becoming the 27th at 500m and the 21st at 1000m.
