Acanista alphoides (lat.) - a species of barbel beetles from the subfamily Lamyine . Distributed in Australia , the Moluccas and Papua New Guinea [1] . The head is already protorox (its front and rear edges are the same width, and the side edges are angular). The scutellum is rounded behind. Elytra wider than pronotum. The general color is gray-white. The antennae are long, about 3.5 times the length of the whole body [2] .
