Laura Gibson ( Laura Gibson ) - American singer. Since 2006, she has released four studio albums in the genres of folk and alt-country . Her latest Empire Builder CD was released in 2016. She currently resides in Portland and has signed with indie label Hush Records [1] .

Biography
Laura Gibson grew up in Coquila ( Oregon ) [2] , graduated from Linfield College.
In 2008, she toured the USA with the opening act of Colin Meloy , for whom she also recorded vocal harmonies on his mini-album Colin Meloy Sings Sam Cooke [3] . The following year, she first performed in Europe with Michee Rabin and Sean Ogilvy from the band Musée Mécanique . She collaborated with many other musicians, including Laura Veers , Danny Seym ( Lackthereof ) and Rachel Bloomberg [4] . Gibson recorded a cover version of the song “ Edelweiss ” from the musical “ Sounds of Music ” for the charity disc Sing Me to Sleep - Indie Lullabies , published by American Laundromat Records in 2010.
