The Yastrebar - concentration camp created by the Ustashi [1] (Croatian fascists ) during the Second World War , which was intended to support children aged from one month to 14 years. Children who were previously in the concentration camp of Stara Gradiskka were sent to Yastrebarsko [2] .

History
The camp was located in the town of Jastrebarsko in Croatia . He acted for two months in 1942. In Yastrebarsko children from Kozara and Croatia were detained [1] . A castle belonging to the Hungarian noble family Erdodi , a Franciscan monastery and former barracks of the Italian police were assigned to the camp’s territory [2] .
According to the testimony of Franje Ilovara ( Horv. Franje Ilovara ), who worked as a grave digger in Yastrebarsko, 1018 [1] [3] children died there, but perhaps the death toll is closer to 1500 [3] .
On August 26, 1942, the 4th Kordun Brigade of the People's Liberation Army of Yugoslavia liberated the camp [4] . Partisans rescued more than 700 children from the camp [1] .
