Sports Biography
The highest success in the career of a Croatian boxer is a bronze medal at the 2004 European Championships . Having reached the semifinals of the continental championship, Jipalo lost to the Russian boxer Alexander Alekseev . A year later, Vedran won bronze at the Mediterranean Games in Spanish Almeria . Also on the account of the Croatian athlete there are three bronze medals of the boxing championship among the countries of the European Union .
In 2004, Vedran Jipalo, as a member of the Croatian national team, took part in the Athens Summer Olympics in the category up to 91 kg. However, in the first round, Jipalo lost to the Australian Adam Forsyth (22:32).
