Biography
Born on November 9, 1837 , came from noblemen of the Kiev province. In 1856, after graduating from the Konstantinovsky Cadet Corps , Sannikov was promoted to ensign and appointed to be in the Grenadier Engineer Battalion. Since 1859 he was promoted to second lieutenant .
In 1860, he entered the Nikolaev Engineering Academy , in 1862, after graduating from the academy in the 1st category, he was promoted to lieutenant , and in the same year to captains of staff .
From 1863 he was transferred to the guard , from 1863 he was second lieutenant, lieutenant of the guard, and in 1866 he was captain-general.
Since 1868, the company commander of the Grenadier Engineer Battalion, in 1869 promoted to captain , in 1871 promoted to colonel . In 1872 he was appointed commander of the Grenadier sapper battalion .
In 1878 he was appointed commander of the 48th Odessa Infantry Regiment , participated in the Russo-Turkish War . For military distinctions he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of the 3rd degree with swords and was awarded the Golden Saber "For Courage" .
In 1884 he was promoted to major general and appointed general for special assignments under the commander of the Kiev military district .
Since 1890 he was appointed military governor of the Akmola region . In 1896 he was promoted to lieutenant general .
In 1902, dismissed from production with the generals from infantry .

- His daughter Sofia (1880-1970) was married to Mikhail Rumyantsev from 1897 (1864-1920), captain from 1896, major general from 1910 [2]
