The first written mention of a place called Heat dates back to 1197.
Geography
It is located in the west of the country, 15 km east of Marianske Lazne , 46 km south-east of the city of Cheb , 37 km south of Karlovy Vary and 50 km north-west of Pilsen . The area is 113.23 km².
