3 Toltec Skulls ( English 3 Skulls of the Toltecs ) is a computer game in the quest genre, developed by the Spanish company Revisitronic and released for DOS and Windows operating systems in 1996 . The game uses hand-drawn graphics and a humorous storyline resembling the games of the Monkey Island series.

Content
Story
The game uses many classic western stamps. Cowboy Fenimore Fillmore ( eng. Fenimore Fillmore ) learns from a strolling merchant about the Toltec treasure, the key to which are three golden skulls. Fenimore gets one of the skulls, but very soon it turns out that he is not the only one who knows about the treasures, and he has to enter into confrontation with competitors.
There are numerous references to historical events in the game, such as the US Civil War and the Franco-Mexican War .
Gameplay
The game uses the interface " point-n-click " ( Russian. "Point and click" ). The player selects a verb from the list (open, close, take, give, use, look, move, speak) and points the mouse at the object with which you want to perform the action. Used model, similar to the quests LucasArts . To move around the game space, a map is used. You can also move between locations on a donkey or hand trolley. Puzzles are based on manipulations with items from the character's inventory that are collected in the game, as well as conversations with other characters. In dialogs, there are usually several answer choices, of which only a few lead to the desired result.

Observers noted the similarity of the game with The Secret of Monkey Island [2] [3] .
The game received good and average ratings. Among the shortcomings was noted the slow movement of the character across the screen [1] . Humor was evaluated ambiguously: some observers called jokes mediocre and flat [1] , while others, on the contrary, found them very funny [3] . Among the advantages of the game called beautiful graphics and video sequences [1] .
