Biography
Mother - nee Yepanchina [1] . He studied at the Tula gymnasium and at the Petrovsky Agricultural and Forestry Academy , where he graduated from the course in 1871.
In 1874 he was sent abroad, where he attended lectures at the Paris National Institute, at the University of Leipzig and worked at Professor Stoman's agronomic station. In 1877, Perepelkin took the place of a senior teacher of zootechnics, anatomy and animal physiology at the Kharkov Agricultural School , and in 1879 he was transferred as a teacher to the Moscow Agricultural School , where he was soon elected director of the school and Butyrsky educational farm. From 1890 to 1891, he served as secretary of the Committee for Cattle Breeding, and then secretary of the Moscow Society of Agriculture , which on the day of its 75th anniversary (1895) awarded him a large gold medal and election as honorary members. He was promoted to active state councilors on May 14, 1896. Together with A.S. Ermolov, he participated in a survey of the state of fine-wool sheep breeding in southern Russia. Expert at the All-Russian Exhibition of Pets in Moscow (1882), as well as at the International Exhibition of Merino in Kharkov (1884).
He was assigned to the Main Directorate of Agriculture and Land Management. was awarded the orders: St. Anne 3rd Art. (1886), St. Vladimir 3rd art. (1892), St. Stanislav 1st art. (1899) [2] , as well as St. Anne 1st Art. (1911) [3] .
From September 17, 1918 he worked in the Rumyantsev Museum - was the head of the agricultural scientific department [4] .
