Story
At the beginning of the series, the family plays scrabble . Bart , wanting to finish the game earlier than anyone else, wins by adding the non-existent word “Quidjibo”, explaining its meaning as “a big stupid bald American monkey without a chin ” (Marge added that she is “with a heavy character”).
The next morning at school, Bart draws a caricature of Skinner on a wall with a spray can, and Martin Prince passes it. Skinner orders Bart to come into his office after class. Before starting an intelligence test, Martin manages to transplant Bart to the window so that he does not cheat, and he, having finished before anyone else, built grimaces from the street. Then the angry Bart, unable to cope with the test on his own, in revenge changes his last name on the tests, appropriating the work of Martin.
When Homer and Marge arrive at the headmaster’s office, Skiner hints that the damage to school property was estimated at $ 75. Homer pays damage. Secretary of Director Skinner tells him in touch that a school psychologist wants to see him, and he says that Bart is a gifted child. The result of the intelligence test was 216 points. He is transferred to a special school for gifted children. There Bart does not feel at ease: he understands almost nothing in the classroom, and new classmates laugh at him, which, thanks to his knowledge and cunning, compels him to give them his lunch. The family has a special relationship with Bart: Marge leads her son to the Carmen opera in Russian, and then to the Swedish film festival to feed his mind, but it annoys him. Bart and Homer, instead of going to the festival, play baseball. The boy decides to go to the old school, but his former classmates despise the "bookworm", believing that he is the smartest. Bart is bored with such a life, but he does not dare to confess to his father that he is not a genius. An unsuccessful experiment in a chemistry lesson, as a result of which the cabinet became covered with sticky green mucus, becomes the last straw: Bart confesses to a psychologist first and then to Homer as a scam. The boy says that this should not prevent him and his father from spending time together (after all, they became close in a week), but Homer is furious. Homer intends to strangle Bart for his deception, but Bart escapes, closing himself in the room, and Homer continues to knock angrily on the door to his room.
