History
The Baranavichy bus transportation system dates back to 1909 , when it was decided to open a bus connection between the city and neighboring cities, and the first regular flight started in 1910 [1] .
After the city was liberated from the Nazi invaders, it was necessary to restore the public transport system from scratch. The first cars of the fleet were captured German Bussing .
In the early 50s, the fleet was replenished with modern Soviet buses PAZ-651 and ZIS-155 . The city worked one route from the Polessky station to the Tretyakov. Its price was 1 ruble, and from the station to the center or from the center to the Tretyakovs it was necessary to pay 50 kopecks.
In 1955, the Education Department of the BSSR decided to organize an independent economy: Baranavichy Bus Depot, which was called "Passenger Transport Bureau". It was created on the basis of small workshops. At that time, there were 35 buses, 29 Pobeda cars and 9 trucks to service the city in the auto fleet [2] .
Already in 1975, the motor transport sector was divided into two transport enterprises: a taxi fleet and a 2448 motor vehicle fleet. In December 1975, a new fleet with a garage for 200 buses was commissioned on Telman Street.
In 2008, AP No. 2, in addition to passenger traffic, began to carry out cargo transportation. For this, two modern DAF XF-105 tractors were purchased, as well as KOGEL semi-trailers for them. On January 26, 2009, RUE AP No. 2 of Baranovichi was reorganized into OJSC Bus fleet of Baranovichi.
