Club

Early years

Born in the city of Guimaraes in Portugal . At the age of 14 he was invited to the football school Vitoria Guimaraes . And less than two years later he was called up to the Portuguese youth team. So in May 2003, as part of the national team, he played at the home European Championship among youth under 17 years of age . The Portuguese national team became the champion ^[1] , and Vieirinha became the best player in the tournament.

After playing a couple of seasons for the youth teams of Porto and Porto B, Vieirinha was leased to Marka in the summer of 2005 until the end of the year. Vieirinha spent six months in the “Marku”, having played 13 matches and scoring 4 goals, only the experienced striker Kim had more in the team ^[2] . With Vieirinha returning from the lease, Porto extended the contract until 2010 ^[3] .

For the 2006/07 season, Vieirinha was getting ready with the main team. On August 19, 2006, he played the first match in the Portuguese Super Cup and scored the first goal for Porto. After 70 minutes, substituting, he struck the goal with a shot from outside the penalty area in 89 minutes ^[4] .

In the same season, Villierinha made his debut in the Champions League . On October 18, 2006, in a 80-minute meeting with Hamburg with a score of 4: 1, Porto replaced Quarezhma in favor of ^[5] .

But in general, in the season he played mainly, coming on as a substitute, and could not show himself properly. Total for Porto in the 2006/07 season, Vieirinha played 8 matches, and became the champion of Portugal as part of Porto.

He spent the 2007/08 season on loan at the Leixion Club. He played 22 matches in Leishans, only 9 of them in the main team ^[6] , and scored 1 goal. Fighting for "survival" "Leyshoynsh" eventually took a saving 14th place.

Having failed to gain a foothold in the main team of Porto, Vieirinha went on loan to the Greek club PAOK , headed by compatriot Fernando Santos , who was the initiator of the transaction.

PAOK

Season 2008/09

In the 2008/09 season, Vieirinha was leased to the Greek PAOK, a career in which he began unsuccessfully. Having played the first four matches in the first team, in a match with Aris , Vieirinha got an ankle injury at the end of the first half ^[7] and was out of action by the end of the year, and only appeared on the field on January 4 in the match against OFI . Vieirinha regained his place in the main team at the end of the season. PAOK took 2nd place in the championship, but in the Super League playoffs for a place in Eurocups, it took only 3rd place, thereby ensuring itself participation in the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League 2009/10 . In total, that season, Vieirinha played 21 matches and scored one goal, having entered the field 71 minutes in the match of round 18 with Pantrakikos ^[8] .

In the summer of 2009, PAOK completely redeemed the rights to Vieirinha, whose transfer cost the Greek club 300 thousand euros ^[9]

2009/10 Season

In the 2009-2010 season, PAOK finished third in the regular season and won the Champions League 2010/11 in the Super League playoffs, while Vieirinha became a key player in PAOK after 34 matches, scoring 7 goals and 8 assists. On February 27, in a match against Xanthi , Vieirinha scored a double ^[10] : at the 7th minute he closed Lino's canopy from the penalty box on the near post, at the 13th minute Vieirinha acted as an assistant, hanging from the right flank Ivich who sent his head off the ball into the goal, and at 66 minutes Ivich and Vieirinha switched roles, the first gave a pass into the penalty area, the second scored.

Season 2010/11

The season began with bad news for PAOK, the Portuguese coach leading the club since 2007, the , Fernando Santos , whose fruitful work was noticed by the Hellenic Football Federation , on July 1, 2010 he led the Greek team , signing a contract for 2 years ^[14] . It was at the request of Santos that in 2008 PAOK acquired Vieirinho.

After Santos left, PAOK changed 3 coaches per season, but despite this, the club took 4th place, winning a ticket to the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League 2011/2012 . Vieirinha was one of PAOK's most productive players in 31 games played, scoring 6 goals and making 8 assists.

In the quarterfinal of the Cup of the country PAOK defeated Olympiacos . Thanks to Vieirinha's goal in the 83rd minute: defender Cirillo made a pass from his half of the field to Vieirinho, who, ahead of the defenders, reached in the fall and sent the ball into the goal; PAOK's first match was a draw, 1-0 in the replay. And PAOK reached the semifinals, where in the most important two-match confrontation with Aris, he lost with the general score 0: 1

Season 2011/12

In the new season, Vieirinha continued to show a high level, scoring 5 goals in 13 championship games and making 6 assists.

In the Europa League, in the matches of the 3rd qualification round, PAOK played with the Norwegian Volerenga a total score of 5: 0 ^[17] , Vieirinha scored a goal in each match. In the 4th round, PAOK defeated Lviv “ Karpaty ” 3: 1 ^[17] and made it to the group stage, where “ Tottenham Hotspur ”, “ Shamrock Rovers ” and “ Rubin ” became his rivals. On January 3, 2012, Villierinha moved ^[19] to German Wolfsburg , the transaction price of 4,500,000 euros ^[9] , having signed the contract until 2015. Villieriña went to Finland as a Porto player to the World Cup among youth under 17 years old .
