Megachile sculpturalis (lat.) Is a species of large bees from the Megachilidae family. East Asia, brought to North America. Length 13-25 mm. Black bee with golden reddish hairs. [1] [2]

Distribution
It comes from East Asia ( China , Korea , Taiwan , Japan ; Iwata 1933, Wu 2005) [3] [4] . It was first discovered in North America in 1994 in North Carolina , in 1999 in central Ohio (Mangum & Sumner 2003) [5] , in 2000 in Alabama (Kondo et al. 2000) [6] and New York (Ascher 2001 ) [7] , in 2002 - in Canada ( Ontario ; Mangum & Sumner 2003) [5] . Later found in Vermont (Richardson 2005) [8] , in the Boston area (Rykken 2007) [9] , Indiana (Indiana Cooperative Agricultural Pest Survey 2006) [10] , Iowa and Kansas (Hinojosa-Díaz et al. 2005) .
