Career
Club
Fike began playing football in 1994 with the Mühlenbeck 47 kids club team. In 2000, he moved to the Oberhafel club from Felten . Since the summer of 2002, he studied at the junior school " Energy ".
In the 2005/06 season, Fike began playing for the second Energy team, which then played in Oberlig . The next season, she already played in the Regional League , but the team did not succeed in the next class upgrade (entering the newly formed Third League ). In the summer of 2006, after Marcus Dvorrak moved to Dynamo Dresden , Fayk signed his first professional contract with Energia.
The young defender made his debut in the Bundesliga on November 26, 2006, substituting 85 minutes into the game against Bayer . [2] On December 2, against Hannover , he entered the field in the starting lineup and was removed at 90 minutes, receiving a second yellow card. In the remaining games of the season, he only sat on the bench, without leaving the field. In the 2007/08 season, he played only for the second team.
After the second team failed to enter the Third League, Fayk, together with partners Martin Mennel, Jan Hochsheidt and Mark Hanzel, moved to the Erzgebirg and signed a two-year contract there. [3] There he was able to become a base player and was even after his first season the team's top scorer.
At the beginning of the 2009/10 season, Fayk joined the Arminia Second Bundesliga club, where he signed a contract until the summer of 2012. [4] After the departure of Arminia following the 2010/11 season, the defender moved to Munich 1860 , signing a contract for 3 years. [5]
Team
Fike played for the youth teams of Germany until the age of 18, 19 and 20. In 2007, he participated in the European Championship among teams under 19 years old , where the Germans lost in the semifinals.
Personal life
Arne Fike's wife's name is Kenneth, she is from Steinhagen. The son's name is Adriano [6] .
