Geography

Sloboda Nerovnovka is located in the central part of Stepnyansky settlement , Olkhovatsky district , Voronezh region at the top of the Sukhaya Stavki spring.

History

Nerovnovka was founded in 1813 [2] by the peasant Pyotr Nerovny (from which it was named) [3] in the middle of the 18th century as the owner of the Tevyashovs' farm.

  • At the end of the 18th century, the farm numbered 22 yards.
  • In 1835, there were 61 courtyards and 398 inhabitants in the Nerovny farm. [four]
  • According to the census of 1859, 610 people lived in the farm Nerovny in 75 yards. [five]
  • In 1878, a stone Sofia church was built here and the farm became a settlement.
  • In 1900, the population of the settlement Nerovnaya ( Nerovnovka ) was 805 people. There were 99 yards [6] , a public building, a school, 6 windmills, 4 small shops and 1 wine shop.
  • In 1926, there were 1136 inhabitants in Nerovnovka.

September 30, 2007 residents of the village Nerovnovka together with the abbot of the Transfiguration of the Church p. c. Olkhovatka priest Viktor Skorobagatko installed a worship cross. On the feast of the holy martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia, a multitude of people gathered around the worship cross from all around. The festive prayer service and the rite of consecration of the newly-built cross were performed by: the acting dean of the Rososhansky church district, priest Andrei Skakalin and the rector of the Preobrazhensky church of the Olkhovatka district center, priest Viktor Skorobagatko. The festive prayer was attended by the head of the administration of the Stepnyansky settlement, Petrov I.V. Expressing his gratitude to all those who worked for this holiday, Ivan Vasilyevich expressed a desire to improve this holy place. [7]
