It originates in the area of the Khan-Metarzai mountain range and flows mainly in the northeast direction. It flows 4 km from the city of Zhob . It falls into the Gumal River near the town of Khadzhuri-Khach. The name of the river translated from Pashto means "oozing water." The waters of the river are actively used for irrigation of agricultural land. In winter, migratory birds from Siberia stop in the Zhob valley. The Zhob District of Pakistan is the only district of Baluchistan, whose climate is influenced by the monsoons, which, in turn, determine the water level in the Zhob River [2] .
