Life

In 1902, she married Montenegrin Prince Mirko Dmitry , the youngest son of King Nikola I and Queen Milena. Natalia was a distant relative of the Serbian king Alexander I Obrenovich (1876 - 1903). Nicola Negos was interested in this marriage, because through this union he hoped to put his son on the Serbian throne. At first, the marriage was happy. Mirko was in love with his wife, "a blonde with big, dark eyes, like a goddess," which the family called Lily . But happiness did not last long. Soon, the windy prince returned to his many mistresses, which could not but affect family relationships. Five children were born in the family, but only one son, Prince Mikhailo (1908 - 1986), lived a long life. All four other sons: Stanislav and Stefan died of tuberculosis in 1908 , Pavel and Emmanuel died in more adulthood, but did not leave offspring after themselves.

Natalia was very close with her sister-in-law Elena and very often visited her in Italy. Helen was the Italian queen, wife of King Victor Emanuel III . Mirko, who wanted to embroil the women, spread the rumor that his ex-wife was traveling to Italy to her lover, Elena’s wife, King Victor Emmanuel. When Mirko’s father, King Nikola, found out about this, he put the prince under house arrest, so as not to spoil relations with Italy. After that, Natalya moved to Paris with her parents. In 1917, their union was finally broken by divorce. Mirko died the following year in Vienna. Natalia died in 1950 . At first she lived in Great Britain, then in France. In 1920, she entered into a second marriage with Count Gaston Errembault de Dudzeele (1877 - 1961). They had two daughters: Elena (1921 - 2006) and Anna-Maria (1922 - 1984).
