By nationality, Belarusian [2] . He graduated from the 2nd Dvina Higher Primary School.
Career
Member of the RSDLP (b) since 1917 .
1917 - 1918 - assistant secretary of the factory committee of the Arsenal ( Bryansk ), chief of the 2nd district of the Rzhev city police.
1918 - 1923 - In the organs of the Cheka . Occupied positions: Investigator, Head of the Legal Department of the Bryansk Uyezd Chek; follow, deputy head of the Legal Department, secretary of the Poltava Provincial Cheka. Counterintelligence Commissioner, Deputy Head of the Political Department, Head of the Secret Division, Deputy Head of the Secret Operations Division, Head, Deputy Head of the Counterintelligence Division, authorized by the Kiev Provincial Cheka.
1925 - 1934 - In the organs of the OGPU of the Ukrainian SSR . Occupied posts: Commissioner, Deputy Head of the Counterintelligence Department of the GPU under the SNK of the Ukrainian SSR; Head of the Counterintelligence Department of the GPU under the Council of People's Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR; Assistant to the head of the Kiev, Odessa district department of the GPU; Head of the Information Department of the GPU under the SNK of the Ukrainian SSR; Assistant Chief of the Kiev Operational Sector of the GPU; Head of the Secret Political Department of the GPU under the Council of People's Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR; Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Department of the GPU; Head of the Economic Directorate of the GPU under the SNK of the Ukrainian SSR; Deputy Head, Head of the Economic Department of the State Security Directorate of the NKVD of the Ukrainian SSR.
Since 1936 - in the bodies of the NKVD . Head of the Office of the NKVD in Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions. He supervised the deployment of mass repressions and the falsification of cases in Ukraine. This period was marked by the entry into the composition of a special troika created by order of the NKVD of the USSR dated 30.07.1937 No. 00447 [3] and active participation in the Stalinist repressions [4] .
In mid- 1938, he assumed the post of head of the NKVD Directorate for the Ordzhonikidze Territory after the arrest of P.F. Bulakh .
The final stage
January 23, 1939 arrested and convicted under Art. 58-7-17, 58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Shot on January 26, 1940 . Not rehabilitated.
In 2010, the Security Service of Ukraine was included in the List of party and Soviet leaders, leading employees of the OGPU and GPU of the Ukrainian SSR, guilty of pursuing the Holodomor-Genocide policy and repression in Ukraine .
