Cross-country skiing

Prior to his first start at the highest level, which happened at the 2006 Olympics in Turin , his only official starts at the international level were appearances in the Alpine Cup 2005/06 , where he did not get into the first hundred of the best four times at the end of the race and once, January 21 , in the French Tenange became the 70th in the 15 km freestyle race [1] .

At the 2006 Olympics, Darko took part only in the 15 km race in the classic style , where he finished 84th and lost to the winner Andrus Veerpalu from Estonia for more than 10 minutes [2] . After the Olympic debut right up to the 2007 World Championships, he did not take part in major competitions, participating only in the Alpine and Balkan Cups. At the World Championships itself, which was held in Sapporo , the Macedonian again took part in only one race for 15 km, where the 96th result showed a free style, losing to Norwegian Lars Berger , who won first place, more than 7 minutes [3] . Macedonian spent the race and the following two major tournaments: at the 2009 World Championships in Liberec, he fell behind the leaders in the skiathlon [4] , and at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, he took 85th place in the skating race of 15 km .

Later Damyanovsky did not become part of the World Cup . He unsuccessfully performs at the World Championships among the military and the World Military Sports Games , continues to perform in regional European Cups, and at the stages of the Balkan Cup, he repeatedly became the winner and medalist. In the championship of Macedonia in 2008, won the "silver" in the race for 5 km free style [5] .

Biathlon

Damyanovsky plays in biathlon internationally from the 2005/06 season , when he began to compete in the European Cup , but he managed to get into the first hundred in the races of this tournament only in the 2007/08 season , when he, having allowed 12 misses, became the 96th in an individual stage race in Obertilliach, Austria [6] . His positions were slightly better at the 2008 European Championships , where he became 75th in the individual race [7] and 78th in the sprint [8] , but this is due to a smaller number of participants.

In the 2008/09 season, Darko made his debut in the World Cup : in the sprint race in Oberhof, he was the last, losing to the winner of Russian Maxim Chudov a little less than 7 minutes [9] . A week later, in Ruhpolding in a similar race, he dropped another line lower, becoming the 113th, but leaving six other athletes behind him [10] . He also had the opportunity to participate in the 2009 World Championships in Pyeongchang , where they were shown the 96th result in the individual race [11] and the 97th result in the sprint [12] . Even worse were his results at the 2011 World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk , when he became the 116th in the sprint [13] and in the individual race [14] .

He made the next international start in biathlon only at the next world championship in Ruhpolding, where he became the 122nd in the sprint [15] and the 108th in the individual race [16] .
