Geography
Currently, Iki-Burulsky SMO covers an area of 76.3 thousand hectares. Located in the central part of Iki-Burulsky district . It borders on the West with Primanych SMO , in the north with Baga-Burulsky and Utsalinsky SMO , in the east with Svetlovsky SMO , in the south with Khomutnikovsky and Manychsky SMO.

As of 01.01.2012, the population of the SMO is 4,444 people or 39.2% of the population of Iki-Burulsky district. Over 90% of the population lives in the administrative center of the settlement - the village of Iki-Burul (4,095 people or 92.1% of the population of the SMO). The population of Bayr and Sheret is 127, respectively. (2.9%) and 222 people. (5.0%) [1] .
