Karadzhev, Boris Yakovlevich

Born in Perm in 1948. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics of Perm State University in 1971 and the screenwriting and film studies faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography in 1982.

He began his professional career at the Perm television studio , taught in a number of educational institutions ( Perm State Pedagogical Institute , Perm State Institute of Culture ), worked as an author and director at various film studios of the country ( Sverdlovsk Film Studio , TSSDF , Tsentrnauchfilm , etc.). He was one of the creators of the creative association "TV News".

From 1993 to 2001, he was artistic director of the TV-Culture studio, which is part of the Kultura Editorial-publishing complex (RIK Kultura) of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

In 2001–2006 - Editor-in-Chief of the Russian Central Documentary Film Studio (RCSDF).

Since 2002, the head of the workshop directing documentary films at VGIK.

The film (39 minutes long) "At the Walls of Moscow" is dedicated to the history of the Okhotny Ryad and the construction of the Hotel Moscow - the first under Soviet power.

2005 film “Portraits of the era. Maya Plisetskaya ”lasting 51 minutes was shown on the 80th anniversary of the ballerina. It contains a story about the childhood of the ballerina, the first years of her work at the Bolshoi Theater , her many roles.
